Tree Conservation Area is an area to protect all trees within the specified area by Singapore Statutory Law. Most people may think that they are able to remove or plant any tree within their own private land plot. However, based on Parks and Trees Act, no tree shall be planted or removed without the prior approval from NParks. This may be an inconvenience for the owner who wishes to remove or plant trees within their garden as they require to submit to NParks for approval.
